Czech carmaker Škoda, which has many followers also in Slovenia, celebrated its 120th anniversary and the launch of the new Škoda Superb on 23 June 2015 in Grand hotel Union, in Ljubljana.
The Superb was presented by the Slovenian designer Marko Jevtič. “The new era of Škoda will be marked by the latest Škoda Superb model”, said Petr Podlipny, Director of Škoda brand at importer Porsche Slovenija. The model that yesterday underwent the Slovenian premiere was presented by Skoda designer, Slovenian Marko Jevtič, who left his mark on the design of the exterior of the new Superb.
The celebration, which was attended by more than 200 invitees, concluded a performance directed by Matej Filipčič. A mixture of symphonies, ballads and rock was staged SNG Opera Orchestra and Ballet Ljubljana, led by Živa Ploh Peršuh, the singer Vlado Kreslin and guitarist Bor Zuljan.
